David Eley is based in Bordeaux, France. His work hangs in many private and public collections both in the UK and the USA. His subject matter is varied, ranging from golf and fishing to vineyards and the famous Savoy Hotel. He was commissioned to
paint the Old Course at St Andrews in honour of the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations. This magnificent original painting - which measures 5 feet by 4 feet, is signed by all the leading players who made the cut in the 1995 Open Championship.
Amongst the signatures are those of the winner, John Daly, Tiger Woods, Nick Faldo, Seve Ballesteros, Lee Trevino and Tom Watson.
