The eminent American architect, A. Eugene Kohn, Chairman of Kohn Pedersen Fox is renowed for his prominent works of glass and steel. Two KPF projects are currently being built in the City - Heron Tower and the Pinnacle building - also known as
the Helter Skelter building. In contrast to his imposing minimalist architecture, his intimate and thoughtful watercolours reveal a deep understanding of colour and freeness of line and form. Kohn's artwork not only invites us to look into the heart
of a great architect, it represents the challenge that all architects face - to translate their artistic sensibilities into structural and scientific terms.
