Julia Valtsefer was born in Leningrad, now St Petersburg, in 1960. She is a member of the Union of Russian Artists and qualified with a distinction from the Academy of Fine Arts, St Petersburg (Fine Art and Sculpture). She remains primarily a
landscape artist.
Her work has been exhibited in Europe, particularly England and Portugal, as well as in the United States.
