After studying at Cambridge University and teaching art, Philippa Jones began painting professionally in 2004. Since then she has been exploring buildings, seascapes, landscapes, still life, and wildlife in her work, but more recently she has
been interpreting stonework and architecture in her art. She is greatly inspired by the creativity of Fauvists, including Matisse and Derain.
