This private commission comes off the back of my solo London show 'Avenue of Champions' at the Belgravia Gallery in June 09. It was created to stand in front of a mirror with the lettering being carved in reverse so as to be read in the reflection.
This draws the viewer into the core of the work which is a celebration of the coming London 2012 Olympic and Paralympics games: as such this work will stand as a lasting legacy to this moment of our history.
The marble is from the mountains of
Carrara and was selected especially for this work, with guidance from the commissioning party as to how it was set.
This private commission is situated within one of the oldest parts of London, at the centre of its established heart...the Law
