This piece is a monument to the technical achievements of contemporary West Coast cast glass fabricators from Dale Chihuly's famous Pilchuk School. Most experts agreed it couldn't be done. It took over a year of experiments and many unsuccessful
attempts before it was successfully cast. There will never be more than four more iterations of this piece, in part due to the fragility of the moulds used.
Caduceus is a human pelvis and spine. This sculpture weighs approx. 15lbs
