Irini Iliopoulou was born in Athens. She studied literature at the Athens University (1969-1975) and painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1978-1981) under G. Mavroidis and continued her studies in Paris at the Ecoloe des Beaux-Arts
(1981-1985) under L. Cremonini.
Since 1981, she has had a number of solo exhibitions in Greece and abroad (Paris, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Cyprus) and particpated in several group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
