Galina Mishenko, b. 1947. Different in flavour to the other works in this show, Mishenko's work has a looser, more earthy quality. Her scenes of rural village life in Russia display an unpretentious sense of realism. Qualified with full honours
from
the Academy of Arts, Mishenko has since taken part in city and regional exhibitions in Russia, and her works hang in private collections in France, Switzerland and Denmark.
